Understanding the Kingdom Message: A Journey to Rediscover the Singular Message of Jesus. (Foreword by Wolfgang Simson)
Faith

This book is the result of a 12-year journey. Although I had been born again and serving the Lord for 20 years before this time, and although I had been talking “Kingdom” outside the context of denominationalism ten years before this time, little did I know that 2009 would mark the beginning of a new adventure for me. With the benefit of hindsight, I later noticed that my spiritual journey had been broken into ten-year phases. My commitment to the Lord began in 1989; my foray into deeper waters of restoring the New Testament pattern for the Lord’s Assembly started in 1999. The year 2009 was the beginning of an adventure into accurate Kingdom understanding. It started when, towards the end of that year, my friend, Femi Bello, gave me a Myles Munroe DVD to watch. I had always known Myles Munroe to be a motivational preacher and that did not catch my fancy, owing to my background in the Apostolic/Prophetic. However, my friend wanted my take on it, so I decided to watch the video.

The Family in God's Work of Restoration
Faith
5

Two important clarifications need be made from the word, go. First, this book does not focus primarily on marriage or family issues – contrary to what may be initially assumed. Rather, it seeks to enlighten the Christian public on God's restoration agenda, in the hope that very fundamental issues regarding Assembly (popularly called church) life and practice today may be revisited. However, you will discover, as you read, it is impossible to speak about God's program of restoration without bringing the family under spotlight, since it plays an indispensable role in both the means and the end of the restoration process. Second, the issues raised and positions expressed in this book are not exhaustively discussed. This is meant to be an appetizer to stimulate readers to explore the topic further. At the end of this book, there are other recommended readings that shed more light and bring the sincere seeker into higher levels of accuracy. Please, feel free to send feedback to the author. These will facilitate collective learning and also provide more content for other works in the pipeline.
